To complement and enhance the healing effects of Dr. Anders’ specific Chiropractic manipulative treatment, we at Anders Chiropractic and Sports Performance, LLC also provide the following physiological therapeutic procedures:
- Emfield Pro (HEIT) high energy inductive technology. This devices uses a 3 Tesla magnet to create an oscillates magnetic wave that can penetrate the body up to 8 inches. When cells are stressed they lose polarity causing the cell membrane to close. The magnetic wave will polarize the cells causing the cell membranes to open and research has shown this leads to increases in serotonin and growth hormone. This device is helpful in reducing numbness and tingling from nerve related issues. We have found in to be very beneficial in reducing pain in the shoulder, hip, and knee regions.
- Trigger Point Therapy- this is a type of deep tissue massage designed to trigger point pain in specific areas of the body. These points, also known as "knots" are located in muscles tissue when they become irritated and inflamed.
- IR Sauna heat therapy-is a type of low-energy therapy that uses heat generated by waves of energy from the far end of the infrared spectrum. This therapy is designed to penetrate 2 to 7cm into the body providing relief from pain, stiffness, and inflammation. There is also an added benefit of detoxification while increasing blood flow.
- Resistance band and medicine training with the addition of unstable surfaces to enhance proprioception and balance.
